📋 Description

• Provide operational support to student housing assets • Fill vacant property manager roles • Train and mentor new and existing team members • Provide day-to-day and ongoing support, including overseeing an entire student housing community when needed • Assist with training and transition of new properties and property managers • Lead and manage on-site teams across leasing, maintenance, and administration during the absence of a permanent Property Manager or in collaboration with the Property Manager • Identify operational issues and opportunities and create remediation action plans with the Regional Property Manager • Ensure properties meet financial and operational obligations while acting as Property Manager • Work with Regional Property Managers and Corporate Operations on training and implementation plans • Monitor residential sites, buildings, clubhouses, amenities, and common areas for curb appeal, cleanliness, and organization • Assist with strategic marketing plans, leasing efforts, and market research and analysis to achieve budgeted occupancy • Assist with annual unit turnover and move-in/move-out procedures • Solicit team-member feedback and determine resolution plans • Monitor delinquency and determine actions to minimize outstanding debt • Identify skills and knowledge gaps and recommend remedial training • Assist with new-property onboarding and lead site staff in operational procedures • Demonstrate excellent customer service to residents, prospects, vendors, officials, and community members • Travel extensively, generally following a 5-days-on/2-days-off or 10-days-on/4-days-off schedule

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Real Estate, or similar field is preferred • Two or more years of experience in property management; student housing experience is highly preferred • Experience with property management software; Entrata preferred • Extensive travel (90-100%) required • Candidate must be located near a major US airport • Applicants must reside in Alabama, Arkansas, Colorado, Florida, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, or West Virginia • Demonstrated ability to work in a growing, fast-paced environment managing multiple projects simultaneously • Demonstrate a high level of integrity and professionalism • Self-motivated and able to excel in a team environment • Skilled in facility management, budgeting, analytical review of financials, and business administration • Strong leadership abilities with a background managing diverse teams • Proven experience building strong relationships with on-site team members, resident bases, vendors, and company partners • Adaptability to challenging and changing circumstances • Ability to jump in and impact quickly • Understanding of Fair Housing laws, Tenant/Landlord rights, and general real estate principles • This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship at this time
