📋 Description

• Prepare individual federal and state income tax returns • Collect, review, and organize client-provided tax documents • Enter tax information accurately into professional tax preparation software • Review completed returns for accuracy and completeness before filing • Communicate with clients regarding missing or additional documentation • Explain the tax preparation process and request missing information • Maintain organized and accurate client records • Protect confidential taxpayer and financial information • Follow IRS requirements, company policies, and due diligence standards • Complete required training, compliance requirements, and continuing education • Deliver exceptional customer service and build lasting client relationships • Meet established deadlines during tax season • Market tax preparation services and grow the client base through networking, referrals, and community outreach • Build a book of business through long-term relationships with returning clients • Represent Polished Talent Group with professionalism and integrity

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills • Professional written and verbal communication skills • Comfortable working independently in a remote environment • Basic computer proficiency • Ability to handle confidential financial information responsibly • Previous tax preparation or financial services experience is a plus but not required • Must have an active IRS Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN) or be willing to obtain one before preparing tax returns • Must successfully complete required tax preparation training before preparing client returns
