• Assist in training specialty skilled and semi-skilled courses within TEEX Workforce Development Programs • Deliver and conduct training courses for water and wastewater utility personnel • Increase trainees’ technical competence and skills • Prepare classrooms and course topics • Deliver classes using teaching aids and demonstrations • Complete required administrative paperwork • Maintain technical competence and skills • Report to the ITSI Workforce Development Program Coordinator
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university or an equivalent combination of education and experience • Three years of experience in operation, maintenance, design, construction, or regulation of water utility systems • Must reside in Aransas, Bee, Brooks, Cameron, Duval, Hidalgo, Jim Wells, Kenedy, Kleberg, Live Oak, Nueces, Refugio, San Patricio, Starr, or Willacy County • Valid motor vehicle operator’s license or ability to obtain within 30 days of employment • Texas Class "B" Water License • Texas Class "B" Wastewater License or Wastewater Collection II or III • One year of experience in training adults • One of: 60 hours of classroom instructional experience; approved Instructor training in Methods of Teaching; approved Instructor training in Effective Instructional Techniques and Instructional Design and Evaluation; approved Instructor training in Organizational and Use of Training Materials • Equivalency: five years of related experience with an Associate's Degree in an applicable field, or seven years of related experience with a High School Diploma/GED
