πŸ“‹ Description

β€’ Proactively develops and maintains sustaining client relationships that foster continued business opportunities β€’ Develops sales and execution plans in line with the needs of the clients and industry. β€’ Creates persuasive presentations to secure new business. β€’ Delivers results that are at or above the sales forecast, including a focus on profitability. β€’ Works with other Business Development Executives to cross-sell, ensuring TCE is well positioned with the client base. β€’ Acts as the primary contact and is responsible for responding to requests for proposal, requests for information, and other project-related documentation. β€’ Coordinates sales effort with marketing, sales management, accounting, logistics and technical service groups. β€’ Actively participates in the risk assessments for larger and/or lump sum projects. β€’ Maintains the sales forecast and opportunity tracking system on a timely basis. β€’ Actively researches for potential new clients and business opportunities. β€’ Identifies and recommends additional growth areas for the industry line. β€’ Keeps abreast of technical services, market conditions, competitive activities, and promotional trends.

🎯 Requirements

β€’ Experience in developing and closing engineering deals with a values ranging from $500K to $20M+ β€’ Current established professional network in the Appalachian/Mid-Atlantic region, consisting of contacts within the chemicals, refining markets, mining, metals and power markets. β€’ Proven track record of generating their own sales opportunities β€’ Effective communicator (verbally and in writing) and have the personality and ability to influence others in the face of rapid and aggressive competitive responses. β€’ Familiarity with contract negotiation, including working closely with a legal team. β€’ Ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast paced, change-resistant atmosphere. β€’ A two-year degree minimum, a four-year degree preferred, in a related field with 10+ years of experience in B2C business development in the Metals, Mining and Minerals.
