📋 Description

• Design, enhance, and operate customer risk rating models and data pipelines for the US KYC program • Assign customer risk ratings that drive due-diligence intensity, review cadence, and downstream compliance activity • Provide technical leadership across the Analytics function, potentially with an enterprise mandate • Analyze, design, and support technical data management solutions across projects of varying complexity and size • Explain complex data analysis to clients, senior management, and non-technical stakeholders • Identify business opportunities and translate business problems into viable data science solutions • Extract and prepare data, apply statistics and advanced analytics, and derive insights from big data • Visualize results and communicate data stories to decision-makers and stakeholders • Collaborate with data analysts, business analysts, software engineers, data engineers, application developers, model risk, compliance testing, and technology stakeholders • Provide analytical thought leadership and educate the organization on hypothesis testing and statistical validation • Support model change documentation, impact analysis, validation, regulatory exams, and internal audit requests • Lead or facilitate remediation plans for performance, risk, and governance issues • Monitor emerging regulatory requirements and assess potential impacts • Manage and prioritize multiple projects, support continuous process improvement, and contribute to team development through mentorship

🎯 Requirements

• Undergraduate degree or advanced technical degree preferred in math, physics, engineering, finance, computer science, or a related field • Graduate degree preferred, with progressive project work experience or 5+ years of relevant experience • Experience in AML/BSA, KYC, sanctions, or broader financial crime compliance • Familiarity with customer risk rating methodologies • Advanced SQL in Oracle or comparable enterprise RDBMS, including performance tuning of large production queries • Hands-on experience with Azure, Databricks, and Spark-based analytics at scale • Ability to deliver analytics to non-technical stakeholders • Experience operating in a model-governed environment, including model change documentation, impact analysis, and supporting validation • Experience supporting regulatory exams or internal audit requests • Technical knowledge of Python, statistics, advanced analytics, and data extraction/preparation • Ability to work independently on complex technical data management solutions • Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future need for TD sponsorship • Ability to perform continuous sedentary work, multitasking, standard office equipment operation, prolonged concentration, reading, writing, comprehension, and basic arithmetic
