📋 Description

• Provide technical leadership across the overall Analytics function, potentially with an enterprise mandate • Develop and deliver FCRM analytics and reporting, including Transaction Monitoring metrics, executive and governance reporting, and ad hoc analytical requests • Work with large and complex datasets to translate business requirements into accurate, actionable reporting and insights for senior management, regulators, and FCRM stakeholders • Develop and maintain reporting logic using SQL, Databricks, and Python • Own deliverables from requirements through development, validation, documentation, and final delivery • Work closely with business owners to identify opportunities and serve as an ambassador for data science • Translate business problems into viable data science solutions • Extract and prepare data, apply statistics and advanced analytics, and derive insights from big data • Visualize insights to clearly convey results to decision-makers and stakeholders • Collaborate with data and business analysts, software engineers, data engineers, and application developers on scalable data science solutions • Provide analytical thought leadership and stay current on data mining and data science developments • Improve business processes through data-driven insights • Educate the organization on hypothesis testing and statistical validation • Participate in cross-functional and enterprise initiatives as a subject matter expert • Monitor service, productivity, efficiency, risk, and governance issues and implement improvements or remediation plans • Manage relationships across business lines and control functions in alignment with enterprise and regulatory requirements • Maintain effective risk management and control processes • Participate in team development, knowledge transfer, mentorship, and internal/external stakeholder relationship building • Perform occasional domestic travel and continuous sedentary work, concentration, reading, writing, and use of standard office equipment

🎯 Requirements

• U.S. citizen or U.S. Lawful Permanent Resident (Green Card Holder) • Must not require current or future TD sponsorship • 5+ years of relevant experience • Strong hands-on experience with SQL, Databricks, and Python • Experience in Financial Crimes, AML, Transaction Monitoring, Compliance Risk Analytics, or regulatory reporting • Experience developing executive, governance, regulatory, and analytical reporting from complex datasets • Experience owning deliverables from requirements through development, validation, documentation, and final delivery • Strong quality control and analytical skills, including data reconciliation, issue identification, and independent validation of results • Strong documentation skills, including business requirements, query logic, testing/validation evidence, procedures, and change documentation • Ability to translate ambiguous business questions and ad hoc requests into clear analytical solutions • Ability to communicate complex findings clearly to senior management and non-technical stakeholders • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage recurring reporting and competing ad hoc priorities • Undergraduate degree or advanced technical degree preferred; graduate degree preferred • Knowledge of AML and Transaction Monitoring highly valued
