📋 Description

• Execute Risk and Control Self-Assessments (RCSAs), control testing, issues management, Key Indicator creation and monitoring, and change governance • Work with 1A Credit Risk Management teams, Operational Risk 2A Partners, and other risk partners to complete timely deliverables • Prepare for and lead RCSA meetings with stakeholders • Review RCSA documents, procedures, operational risk reporting, audit and regulatory findings, standards, guidelines, and training materials • Assign inherent risk ratings and identify and write control statements • Respond to risk partner challenge and provide program guidance • Lead walkthrough meetings to assess the design effectiveness of controls • Establish testing criteria and steps; perform control testing • Identify control weaknesses and gaps and monitor remediation through closure • Provide risk management expertise and implement risk frameworks to mitigate enterprise and business-wide risk exposures • Lead cross-functional teams and independently manage end-to-end functional programs • Develop and implement standards, policies, and processes to identify, report, and mitigate operational risk exposures • Analyze potential risks, escalate key risks, and present findings and action plans to business executives • Provide ongoing operational risk analysis and reporting and review findings with business leaders • Coordinate or guide operational risk disciplines, including RCSA, business continuity, outsourcing and vendor management, regulatory compliance, and related programs • Develop and monitor Key Risk Indicators and facilitate risk issue resolution • Support operational, market, credit, reputational, and regulatory risk areas • Provide commentary and oversight for policies, procedures, and practices • Conduct research and support presentations and communications to management • Analyze program and policy effectiveness and recommend improvements • Lead or implement remediation plans for performance, risk, and governance issues • Maintain relationships across business lines and oversight functions • Monitor emerging issues, trends, and regulatory requirements • Participate as a subject matter expert in enterprise initiatives • Support knowledge transfer, team development, mentoring, and stakeholder relationships • Promote a positive, diverse, and equitable work environment

🎯 Requirements

• Undergraduate degree or technical certificate and/or 7+ years of relevant experience • Advanced knowledge of risk management governance, programs, policies, practices, operating frameworks, and reporting • Knowledge of risk management environments, standards, regulations, and mitigation • Knowledge of current and emerging competitor and market trends • Ability to establish goals and objectives supporting the strategic plan • Ability to lead, plan, implement, and evaluate program and project activities • Skill in mentoring and coaching • Advanced skill using analytical software tools, data analysis methods, and reporting techniques • Skill using computer applications, including MS Office • Effective oral and written communication skills • Ability to collaborate and build relationships across teams and functions • Ability to work successfully both independently and as a team member • Sound judgment and decision-making ability • Ability to analyze, organize, and prioritize work while meeting multiple deadlines • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion • Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) experience highly preferred • Occasional domestic travel required; no international travel • Continuous sedentary work, multitasking, office-equipment operation, concentration, reading, writing, comprehension, and basic arithmetic • Occasional sitting-related movement, lifting/carrying under 25 lbs., squatting, bending, reaching forward, and walking
