📋 Description

• Analyze financial statements, management profiles, business/product cycles, and cash flow ability to assess credit risk • Review in-depth historical operating performance • Identify key strengths and risks, develop credit assessments and summaries, and recommend risk ratings • Discuss and recommend alternative structures, overall assessments, and outstanding requirements with merchant Sales Representatives • Perform quality underwriting for merchant application requests • Analyze complex or large-market requests, potentially within a specific industry • Approve and/or recommend accounts within established merchant credit policy and individual credit approval authority • Prepare analyses for designated merchant accounts, identify policy deviations, and recommend processing or reserve changes • Analyze customer-provided or bank-generated projections and perform what-if scenarios • Collect and maintain industry data from external sources, borrowers, industry publications, and payment card networks • Participate in or assist with leading internal training for sales and customer service employees • Participate in special projects and perform additional duties such as AML reporting • Represent TD at civic, professional, and bank-sponsored events; serve on nonprofit boards and participate in professional organizations

🎯 Requirements

• 4 Year Degree or equivalent • 3-5 Years of credit risk experience • Credit and Financial statement analysis experience • Highly motivated and committed to providing superior service • Strong communication skills and interpersonal skills • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Superior analytical skills and sound judgment for decision-making • Proven accuracy, organization, and ability to multitask to meet SLAs • Expert knowledge of practices and procedures related to Payment Card Network rules and regulations • Ability to perform occasional domestic travel • Ability to perform sedentary work and operate standard office equipment continuously • Ability to read, write, and comprehend instructions • Ability to perform basic arithmetic
