📋 Description

• Design and write clear, engaging, interactive science questions aligned with specified K–12 educational objectives • Write helpful, age-appropriate explanations of life science concepts • Ensure questions and explanations are scientifically correct • Collaborate with illustrators, curriculum designers, and company leaders on content strategies • Develop and manage project plans to create and deliver high-quality science content • Research and review IXL's alignment to educational standards, common assessments, and popular textbooks

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s in Biology required • High school or collegiate science teaching or tutoring experience • Ability to work across multiple scientific disciplines such as life science, earth science, physical science, and engineering • Excellent writing ability • Can-do attitude with an openness to others' ideas • Highly self-motivated and efficient with superb attention to detail • Experience in curriculum development and instructional design is a plus • Resume and cover letter required as application materials
