📋 Description

• Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of comprehensive software testing activities, including functional, regression, integration, security, performance, and user acceptance testing. • Design, develop, maintain, and execute automated test suites supporting web applications, APIs, databases, and system integrations. • Create and maintain detailed manual test cases and test procedures for scenarios that require manual validation. • Develop reusable automated testing frameworks to improve testing efficiency and release quality. • Manage the complete software defect lifecycle, including defect identification, documentation, prioritization, verification, and closure in collaboration with development teams. • Provide regular testing status updates, metrics, and quality reports to the Government Test Manager and program leadership. • Support Risk Management Framework (RMF) activities by producing required testing evidence, security validation documentation, and accreditation artifacts. • Validate software compliance with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG), ensuring zero accessibility defects through automated and manual testing. • Verify software security scan results and ensure new vulnerabilities are remediated or properly documented, including validation of false positives. • Collaborate with Agile development teams to define test strategies, acceptance criteria, and quality objectives for each sprint. • Participate in peer reviews, sprint planning, release planning, and continuous improvement initiatives. • Promote quality engineering best practices, test automation, and continuous testing throughout the software development lifecycle.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or related field. • Minimum 5 years of experience in software quality assurance or test engineering within DoD, federal, or large enterprise environments. • Experience leading both manual and automated software testing efforts. • Proficiency with automated testing frameworks such as Selenium, JUnit, REST Assured, or equivalent testing tools. • Experience with API testing, database testing, and test automation development. • Experience managing software defect tracking and collaborating with development teams to resolve issues. • Familiarity with DoD Risk Management Framework (RMF) testing evidence requirements and security assessment reporting. • Experience using accessibility testing tools and validating compliance with WCAG standards. • Strong understanding of Agile software development methodologies and software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes. • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills. • Active Secret Security Clearance.
