📋 Description

• Mentor and provide direct oversight to the Revenue Cycle Services Team • Supervise the Revenue Cycle Team by delegating tasks, monitoring progress, and evaluating work for timeliness, quality, and compliance • Coordinate and lead daily team activities aligned with priorities • Perform revenue cycle analyst work as needed • Onboard and train new team members • Develop and coach team members to strengthen skills, engagement, and professional growth • Provide management feedback on team-member performance and participate in evaluations, coaching, and corrective action • Foster a supportive work environment through active listening and mentoring • Oversee customer contracts for timely service delivery and accurate status reporting • Monitor Revenue Cycle KPIs and collaborate with management to improve cash flow, reduce denials, and minimize bad debt • Research denial trends and collaborate with leadership to resolve root causes and reduce accounts-receivable impact • Maintain working knowledge of Revenue Cycle Management processes • Develop new processes and improve existing processes for quality, efficiency, and speed • Enforce guidelines, processes, and procedures for objectives and regulatory compliance • Assist with management decisions, team planning, and strategy • Perform other related duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Health Information Management, Accounting, Math, Business or related fields; or equivalent combination of education and experience • 5+ years related experience including at least 3 years of supervisory experience • 3+ years of supervisory experience in medical billing including hospital billing and collections • MEDITECH experience preferred • Extensive experience implementing, supporting, optimizing, and upgrading MEDITECH and/or other EMR • Experience mentoring less experienced team members • Experience being evaluated against and creating action plans based on financial goals and targets to create a profitable service line • Complete understanding and in-depth working knowledge of healthcare revenue cycle • Working knowledge of medical terminology, billing guidelines, HIPAA and compliance • Solid knowledge of third-party billing requirements and HIPAA 837/835 electronic language • W2 project-based consultants must provide a computing device adhering to industry standards and security best practices • Ability to maintain high work-quality standards • Ability to thrive under time constraints • Service mentality • Autonomous with excellent follow-through • Openness to feedback and a growth mindset • Ability to adapt to change, delays, or unexpected events while maintaining a positive mindset
