📋 Description

• Lead end-to-end execution of major manufacturing capital projects, typically USD $2–20M, from concept through commissioning and handover • Develop and manage project charters, business cases, scope, budgets, schedules, and risk mitigation plans • Ensure adherence to site operations, governmental regulations, corporate engineering standards, GMP, and safety requirements • Oversee procurement of capital equipment for cost efficiency and technical compliance • Create technical specifications for manufacturing equipment platforms and processes • Partner with operations, R&D, supply chain, and finance to prioritize and plan annual capital budgets • Translate business needs into project objectives and technical solutions supporting productivity, capacity, and compliance • Provide senior management and governance committees with updates on project status, financial performance, and risk exposure • Supervise and mentor direct reports and foster skill development and accountability • Promote safety, innovation, continuous improvement, and outcome-focused project execution • Contribute to cross-functional training and development of engineering staff in project management best practices • Ensure capital projects comply with FDA, ISO, environmental, and local authority requirements • Maintain accurate documentation and audit and inspection readiness in the CPMO database • Champion sustainability and energy efficiency initiatives in capital investments • Lead post-project reviews and capture lessons learned • Implement standardized tools and systems for project tracking, cost control, and performance measurement

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, Industrial, or related discipline) • PMP certification or equivalent professional project management qualification preferred • 10–15 years of progressively responsible experience in capital project management within a manufacturing environment • Experience in consumer goods, healthcare, or pharmaceutical preferred • Proven track record delivering complex, multi-million-dollar projects in GMP or regulated industries • Experience leading small teams and managing contractors and vendors • Strong project management, budgeting, and cost control skills • AutoCAD proficiency • Ability to travel up to 65%, mostly in the United States • Deep understanding of manufacturing engineering design, construction, commissioning, and validation processes • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills • Ability to manage risk and ensure regulatory compliance • Proficiency in project management software (MS Project, Primavera, or equivalent) • Knowledge of Arc Flash/IR processes • Ability to comply with FDA, ISO, environmental, local authority, GMP, corporate engineering, and safety requirements
