📋 Description

• Perform daily, monthly, and period-end General Ledger operational activities • Research and resolve General Ledger discrepancies, balancing issues, and unreconciled items • Prepare, validate, and post journal entries in accordance with accounting policies and procedures • Complete GL account reconciliations and variance analysis • Analyze transactional activity and investigate out-of-balance conditions • Support financial data validation and reconciliation during system implementations and conversions • Participate in testing, including test planning, execution, defect identification, and validation of financial processes • Assist with conversion planning, implementation, and post-conversion stabilization • Collaborate with project teams, business stakeholders, and banking operations teams • Document processes, testing results, reconciliation findings, and conversion outcomes • Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting standards, audit requirements, and regulatory expectations • Provide General Ledger subject matter expertise throughout implementation and conversion projects

🎯 Requirements

• Previous core banking conversion experience • Experience with one or more Jack Henry core banking platforms, including SilverLake®, CIF 20/20, Core Director, or Symitar® • Previous bank merger or acquisition integration experience • Experience supporting system implementations, testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and client readiness activities • Experience participating in go-live and post-conversion support efforts • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced implementation environment • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting project deadlines • Strong accounting foundation and experience working within banking environments • Ability to support complex core banking implementations and system conversions
