📋 Description

• Process prescriptions ordered by Teladoc providers via telephone or electronically • Support Teladoc providers according to established policies and guidelines • Provide member support by phone and electronic messages • Deliver service to members, providers, and pharmacies through calls and emails • Process prescriptions accurately and promptly under prescriber and supervisor supervision in a call-center environment • Provide direct support to Teladoc providers • Receive and de-escalate escalated patient or provider calls • Initiate and submit online prior-authorization requests to health insurance carriers • Manage daily task lists to meet department performance metrics • Maintain accurate case documentation, including issues and resolutions • Maintain confidentiality and comply with applicable regulations, including HIPAA • Perform other assigned duties

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma required • Active Pharmacy Technician (National) Certification, Medical Assistant Certification, or Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse license • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician, Medical Assistant, or LPN/LVN • Minimum 1 year of experience in a call center environment • Knowledge of healthcare and medical terminology • High level of prescription medication familiarity • Willingness to work outside established hours when needed • Current authorization to work in the United States without visa sponsorship now or in the future • Willingness to work weekdays, weekends, holidays, and 365/24/7 coverage, from 2:00pm to 10:30pm CST, with Tuesday and Wednesday off
