📋 Description

• Work as part of an enterprise Information Security team • Conduct proactive technical security assessments in response to alerts, research, and advisories • Hunt for threats, review indicators of compromise, and provide guidance on incident impacts • Design and implement security controls aligned with NIST, FISMA, and Defense Industrial Base security frameworks • Monitor and respond to security incidents for rapid containment and remediation • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align enterprise policies and standards with U.S. federal cybersecurity mandates • Develop and maintain security documentation supporting ATO approvals, including SSPs, POA&Ms, and audit reports • Support accreditation and authorization processes under RMF and DIACAP • Stay current with emerging threats, technologies, and regulatory changes

🎯 Requirements

• U.S. citizenship required for clearance eligibility • Must be located within the United States • Must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship • Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or relevant federal work experience • Minimum 2 years of experience working in a federal cybersecurity capacity • Active certification such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, CCA, CCP, or another risk-focused credential • Security+, CEH, or various SANS certifications are a plus • Experience with federal cybersecurity frameworks including NIST 800-53/171, RMF, FISMA, FedRAMP, and CMMC • Experience with SIEM tools, endpoint protection platforms, and vulnerability management systems • Experience with regulatory requirements including CMMC, PCI-DSS, ISO2700, and HIPAA • Familiarity with cloud security, including AWS, Azure, GovCloud, and FedRAMP • Experience in system administration supporting multiple platforms and applications • Basic knowledge of IT project management • Strong communication skills and ability to provide technical findings to non-technical stakeholders
