📋 Description

• Serve as the frontline technical expert for Temporal's developer community • Help users deploy and scale Temporal in cloud-native environments • Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues and optimize performance • Develop automation solutions for infrastructure operations • Work with AWS, GCP, Kubernetes, microservices, container orchestration, networking, and observability • Debug infrastructure issues directly with developers and improve cloud performance and reliability • Develop observability solutions using Grafana and Prometheus • Improve networking, including load balancing, DNS, and ingress/egress • Automate infrastructure operations using Terraform and infrastructure as code • Independently drive technical solutions for production issues and infrastructure best practices • Engage with developers, engineering teams, and product teams to understand infrastructure challenges and provide solutions • Influence platform improvements, observability tooling, and self-service diagnostic infrastructure solutions • Bridge developers and infrastructure teams as Temporal scales

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years of experience as a developer • Fluency in one or more of Python, Java, Golang, or TypeScript • Experience deploying and managing medium- to large-scale architectures, such as Kubernetes or Docker • Experience with Prometheus and Grafana • Experience troubleshooting performance and availability issues • Minimum of one year of experience in an internal or external customer-facing role • Experience working with or as part of remote teams • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Experience with security certificate management and implementation is nice to have • Ability to understand use cases and translate them into Temporal design decisions and architecture best practices is nice to have • Experience with EKS, GKE, Kubernetes, Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTracing, Terraform, Ansible, or CDK is nice to have
