📋 Description

• Design and implement core backend service features for Nexus • Own distributed systems components including durable execution, async processing, and workflow invocation through industry-standard protocols • Provide unit, integration, and performance test coverage • Document design choices and operational knowledge for deployment and operation • Provide service-level logs and metrics for cloud service setup • Create alerts, dashboards, and runbooks for production • Collaborate within the Compute and Artificial Intelligence organization to build an enterprise offering for on-premise and dedicated cloud environments

🎯 Requirements

• At least 6 years of experience in a production environment as an "Arranger" and/or "Builder/Enhancer" of highly scalable distributed systems • Solid computer science fundamentals in distributed systems concepts, including multi-threading and concurrency • 2+ years of experience developing customer-facing APIs and frameworks • Experience writing concurrent code in production • Proficiency with Go, Java, or other applicable languages at a high end of Intermediate and/or Advanced or Expert level • Ability to design, build, and maintain backend functionality for highly scalable, multi-tenant services
