📋 Description

• Support the company’s commercial and educational objectives as a Medical Science Liaison or Senior Medical Science Liaison • Serve as sales and commercial team support and regional expert for Tempus oncology assays • Promote exchange of clinical, scientific, and technical information with regional oncology KOLs and physicians • Educate healthcare providers—including KOLs, community physicians, medical directors, and other HCPs—about Tempus oncology products through in-person or virtual presentations • Proactively and reactively communicate scientific data • Provide scientific education for internal stakeholders in collaboration with the Learning & Development team • Attend conferences and key meetings • Prepare comprehensive meeting synopses and summaries of high-impact abstracts, posters, and oral presentations • Keep internal stakeholders updated on relevant medical and scientific knowledge • Proactively share market intelligence

🎯 Requirements

• Strong clinical and scientific background in oncology, genomic testing, and cancer biology • Excellent communication skills • Fundamental understanding of molecular oncology, cancer biology, and related patient management algorithms • Existing KOL relationships in oncology • Working knowledge of genomic laboratory-developed testing (LDT) • Familiarity with CLIA-88’, CAP, and Sunshine Act (2013) • Public speaking skills and ability to effectively communicate scientific topics and concepts • Exceptional interpersonal communication skills • Strong inter- and intradepartmental management skills • Ability to educate and train • Self-starter with an ownership mindset • Ability to work and deliver on tight timelines • Ability to travel up to 50% • Advanced scientific or medical degree (PhD, PharmD, MD, MSN) • Basic understanding of oncology • 1+ years of MSL experience in diagnostics, biotech, or pharmaceutical industries (preferred qualification)
