📋 Description

• Identify operational improvement opportunities through healthcare analytics • Curate datasets from inpatient source tables and reconcile documentation practices across units and service lines • Build, automate, and maintain data extracts, reports, dashboards, and self-service products • Gather requirements, conduct data sourcing, cleaning, and quality assurance of data outputs • Collaborate with Data Scientists on operational improvement opportunities and predictive models/applications • Serve as a point of contact supporting customer Operations teams • Translate inpatient clinical documentation into defined, reproducible measures • Validate metric logic against frontline workflows with nursing, service line, quality, and informatics stakeholders • Contribute to shared standards for SQL, version control, and report development • Monitor production reports and pipelines for data quality issues and lead root-cause analysis and remediation • Support performance improvement work involving length of stay, throughput, capacity, care variation, documentation compliance, and quality measures • Prepare customer presentation materials and support ongoing customer engagement

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience working in clinical data analytics in a healthcare setting • One of the following: Bachelor’s in Computer or Data Science, Engineering, Business/Finance, or Health Sciences; Master’s in Public Health, Data Science, Business Administration, or Statistics; or relevant work experience and portfolio of projects • Experience using and configuring business intelligence tools, including PowerBI and Business Objects • Proficiency in SQL querying and data manipulation, including Stored Procedures and query optimization (Microsoft preferred) • Electronic Health Record (EHR) analytics; Epic Clarity and Caboodle highly desired • Knowledge of clinical documentation in EHR and ability to extract data based on workflow description • Ability to work independently and in a team setting • Excellent communication skills • Proven excellence working simultaneously with multiple clients and projects • Experience with source control, issue trackers, continuous integration, code reviews, and agile development (nice to have) • Experience with AWS technology stack (nice to have) • Knowledge or experience with healthcare data standards such as HL7, FHIR, ICD, SNOMED, and LOINC (nice to have) • Experience with Delta Lake and/or Databricks (nice to have) • Experience using Apache Spark, PySpark, or Scala (nice to have) • Experience with Python (nice to have) • Experience with machine learning workflows and data requirements for ML frameworks (nice to have)
