📋 Description

• Report directly to the Tenet Compliance Lead, who reports to the Tenet Senior Director Compliance • Manage implementation of Tenet’s Ethics and Compliance Program in the assigned state • Advise facility leadership on compliance and ethics matters and recommend controls • Collaborate with facility leadership on compliance, ethics, privacy, and security program development and implementation • Build stakeholder relationships and credibility to support a culture of ethics and compliance • Serve as a sounding board for leadership and employees’ compliance and ethics concerns • Lead quarterly state-level Compliance Committee meetings • Attend facility Board meetings in person or virtually • Assist with implementation of Tenet education and training programs • Coordinate with Tenet counsel regarding legal and compliance matters • Assist with auditing, monitoring, and oversight processes related to identified risks • Oversee corrective actions and monitoring in response to issues and audits • Implement approved monitoring systems and processes for compliance and ethics issues • Implement procedures encouraging reporting of suspected fraud or improprieties without retaliation • Collaborate with corporate personnel to resolve compliance issues • Implement the Tenet hospital compliance work plan and initiatives to prevent compliance and privacy/security issues • Act as a consultative resource on compliance and ethics matters • Oversee implementation of the Quality, Compliance and Ethics Charter at assigned facilities

🎯 Requirements

• Three to five years of progressive experience in hospital compliance, preferably for a large, multi-faceted healthcare company • Demonstrated knowledge in compliance process improvement and the requirements of federal healthcare programs • Demonstrated experience working within a hospital, health system, or other regulated healthcare environment • Experience developing and implementing corrective action plans • Experience conducting or overseeing audits/monitoring activities • Experience developing compliance training and delivering presentations • Experience with compliance data analysis, trend reporting, and dashboard utilization • Proven negotiation and influence abilities, particularly with senior leaders • Clear, concise, and persuasive writing and presentation skills • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to meet deadlines • Effective leadership and management skills • Ability to respond and maintain professionalism under pressure • Skills in information systems, databases, PowerPoint, Excel, and Microsoft Word • Well-developed communication and consensus-building skills • Strong analytical skills with ability to identify root causes, evaluate risks, and propose solutions • Comfortable making decisions in ambiguous or evolving environments • Bachelor’s degree required • CHC certification required • Up to 50% travel required • Required to pass a Motor Vehicle Records check
