📋 Description

• Maintain and troubleshoot SCADA and control systems for solar, solar and storage, and other hybrid plants. • Develop and implement logic for complex custom applications, perform testing, and solve complex issues. • Ensure control system components function correctly and adhere to security protocols across networks. • Integrate new systems, maintain existing equipment, and minimize downtime during system failures. • Engage directly with developers, owners, utilities, O&M companies, and ISOs. • Troubleshoot, test, and restore RTUs, PLCs, and HMIs for active power curtailment, reactive power control, MET tower data acquisition, high-voltage substation SCADA, and PPC/EMS/BESS systems. • Work with SEL-RTACs, ControlLogix, Ignition, MSSQL, InfluxDB, Canary Labs, SEL, Cisco, Hirschmann, Fortigate, Moxa, Putty, and Wireshark. • Develop system architecture diagrams, device points lists, IP lists, logic diagrams, and HMI mockups. • Generate testing documents, as-built drawings, operator manuals, and training materials. • Coordinate with field technicians for on-site troubleshooting and warranty claim support. • Handle warranty claims, coordinate with vendors and manufacturers, and maintain claim records. • Analyze performance data, identify trends and improvements, and generate performance and maintenance reports. • Implement data-driven strategies to improve system reliability and efficiency. • Perform other actions required by management.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Technology, or related field, preferably with controls major. • Ability to communicate with team members and business partners. • 2+ years of IEC 61131-3/PLC programming experience, including structured text and function blocks. • 2+ years of controls development using SEL RTAC is a plus. • 2+ years of SCADA development, Ignition experience a plus. • Working knowledge of programming language. Phyton a plus. • Experience in setting up virtual machines on physical servers. • Working knowledge of industrial protocols such as Modbus-TCP, DNP3, OPC-UA, IEC 61850 and ICCP. • Experience working on multiple projects simultaneously. • Been part of or lead Continuous Improvement/Lessons Learned program. • Must have permanent authorization to work in the United States. • Flexibility in work hours, including occasional night shifts. • Ability to work remotely or travel as needed.
