📋 Description

• Lead and coordinate multi-disciplinary geotechnical projects for large digital-infrastructure clients across the U.S. • Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource forecasts within Terracon’s PMO. • Prepare proposals, cost estimates, and technical reports, ensuring compliance. • Oversee field exploration and laboratory data acquisition, applying innovative site-characterization methods. • Perform geotechnical analyses, calculations, and design of plans/specifications. • Review construction drawings, conduct inspections, and resolve design-construction issues. • Facilitate client meetings and communicate complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences. • Partner with National Account Managers to grow and nurture client relationships in the Digital Infrastructure sector. • Mentor and assign tasks to project staff, ensuring milestones are met. • Drive continuous improvement by researching and deploying new engineering workflows and data-visualization tools.

🎯 Requirements

• BS/MS in Civil Engineering with a geotechnical emphasis; PE license preferred. • Minimum 8 years of geotechnical engineering experience on large-scale infrastructure projects. • Proven project management experience, including schedule and budget control. • Strong knowledge of geotechnical field investigation techniques and laboratory testing. • Proficiency with geotechnical software such as GIS and data-visualization tools. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to convey technical concepts to diverse audiences. • Demonstrated ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams and coordinate across multiple offices. • Experience with digital-infrastructure or telecommunications projects is a plus. • High level of curiosity, problem-solving mindset, and willingness to adopt innovative methods. • Ability to work remotely while traveling nationally to project sites as required.
