📋 Description

• Translate and proofread documents for a variety of clients • Create and finalize translated content before delivery to clients • Translate from English into Irish in Legal areas, including terms/conditions and contracts • Translate from English into Irish in Information Technology, including user interfaces • Collaborate with managers and Project Managers • Work under managerial guidance to meet international client translation needs

🎯 Requirements

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Irish • Specialized in Legal and/or Information Technology fields • Acute attention to detail, spelling, and grammar • Ability to maintain professionalism in all situations, especially under tight deadlines • Applicants must sign a confidentiality agreement • Applicants must complete Translation, MTPE, and Proofreading/QM tests • One of the following is required: a degree in Translation, Linguistics, or Language Studies (or equivalent degree with significant translation training) from a recognized higher-education institution; 2 years of translation experience and a college degree; 5 years of translation experience and no college degree; or a certificate of competence in translation awarded by an appropriate government body • Relevant translation, MTPE, and proofreading/QM experience must be included in the CV • Proposed best Translation, MTPE, and Proofreading per-word rate in USD must be included in the CV
