• Performs complex credit analysis and financial reviews of new and existing loan requests • Analyzes financial statements on complex credit requests • Works with salesperson to structure each loan request • Conducts borrower interview with applicant and/or designated third parties • Contacts salesperson for additional information pertinent to the underwriting activities • Works with customers and sales team to collect required credit information • Verifies existing borrower’s total and current exposure in the loan systems • Generates credit memorandum to include detailed financial analysis • Determines and presents recommended action to senior management • Maintains accurate and complete loan files • Validates that all required authorizations, compliance, and approvals are obtained prior to closing • Creates and maintains approvals and files • Develops close working partnerships with the sales team • Recommends process and operational changes to improve efficiency
• Undergraduate degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of training and experience • 5 years of commercial credit analysis or fleet/equipment leasing experience • Strong working knowledge and understanding of traditional financial analysis • Strong organizational, time management and prioritization skills to meet loan committee deadlines • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills with strong presentation skills • Team player, able to work effectively in a team fostered, multi-tasking environment • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, e.g. Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook
