📋 Description

• Own the full bookkeeping process for multiple clients • Manage accounts payable and receivable • Reconcile bank and credit card statements • Categorize expenses • Generate monthly financial reports • Maintain accurate financial records and keep books up to date • Process payroll • Ensure compliance with federal and state reporting requirements • Coordinate with external CPAs during tax season and organize required documentation • Prepare financial statements and provide insights into business performance • Collaborate directly with clients and their teams to collect documentation, resolve discrepancies, and answer financial questions • Assess open-ended problems, recommend solutions, and implement them with little to no oversight • Manage multiple client priorities and deadlines • Serve a roster of 3–8 ongoing clients, with the ability to choose which clients to take on • Work primarily on weekdays, with typical project turnaround times of 1–2 days

🎯 Requirements

• Demonstrated history of owning the full bookkeeping process for multiple clients • Experience managing accounts payable and receivable • Experience reconciling bank and credit card statements • Experience categorizing expenses • Experience generating monthly financial reports • Proven track record maintaining accurate, up-to-date financial records • Experience managing payroll processing • Experience ensuring compliance with federal and state reporting requirements • Experience coordinating with external CPAs during tax season • Expertise preparing financial statements and delivering business performance insights • Strong written and verbal skills • Ability to adapt communication style to varied client priorities and personalities • Ability to collaborate directly with clients and their teams • Problem-solving ability with little to no oversight • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines • Familiarity with web-based financial and accounting tools, including QuickBooks Online • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field (preferred) • U.S.-Based • Computer • Strong & Consistent Internet Connection
