• Manage a large, complex grocery customer portfolio independently, balancing diverse go-to-market strategies with strong prioritization and planning. • Develop and lead customer plans that maximize distribution, shelf placement, merchandising, and promotion for Bumble Bee items. • Maintain a strong in-market presence through regular customer meetings, broker leadership, and store visits. • Lead forecasting excellence by managing volume planning, promotional planning, post-promotion analysis, and customer insights to support accurate inventory deployment across the supply chain and within applicable trade systems. • Partner cross-functionally with order processing, deductions management, category management, supply chain, and marketing to deliver strong customer outcomes. • Manage deductions for assigned customers proactively and drive timely resolution. • Build best-in-class knowledge of the shelf-stable seafood and meat categories through continuous learning. • Maintain the highest ethical and professional standards in all internal and external business interactions, including effective time management, communication, and meeting preparation.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred, ideally in Business or Marketing. • 2 to 5 years of CPG sales or category management experience, preferably with direct customer responsibility. • Proven record of ownership, including proactive planning, follow-through, and execution. • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. • Ability to analyze syndicated data and apply insights effectively in sales presentations. • Working knowledge of trade fund management systems and internal sales and shipment reporting tools, with experience in CAS (TPM), Cognos, and SAP preferred but not required. • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
