📋 Description

• Independently lead investigations from intake through resolution • Formulate investigation strategies, conduct interviews, review documents, and debrief stakeholders • Mentor non-attorney investigators on legal standards, documentation, and case handling • Promptly assess, investigate, and resolve compliance and ethics inquiries and alleged employee misconduct • Partner with e-discovery and forensic investigators to identify, preserve, and obtain relevant documents and data • Draft timely reports and communicate findings to legal and business leaders • Collaborate with HR on employment-related outcomes and disciplinary actions • Conduct root cause analyses and determine appropriate remedial or corrective actions • Evaluate whether matters and findings should be disclosed to federal or state agencies • Ensure appropriate policies, procedures, training, and education programs are adopted based on investigation findings • Promote a culture of accountability, transparency, and compliance

🎯 Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA accredited law school • 5+ years of experience conducting and managing complex internal investigations, preferably in a corporate or publicly traded environment • Strong knowledge of laws and regulations applicable to healthcare or regulated businesses • Experience investigating business integrity matters, including conflicts of interest, code of conduct violations, employee misconduct, fraud, ethical concerns, retaliation allegations, and other sensitive workplace disputes • Excellent interviewing, analytical, and written and verbal communication skills • Ability to evaluate complex issues, exercise sound judgment, and make practical recommendations to senior leaders • Demonstrated commitment to integrity, compliance, and ethical decision making • For home working, internet connection through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload • Must be able to work remotely from the specified location
