📋 Description

• Support revenue-generating activities across all ConnectiveRx business units, client products and services, and distribution channels • Review, draft and negotiate a wide variety of contracts with sales account managers and management • Coordinate with and advise Sales, Finance, Compliance, Operations, Marketing and New Product Development regarding contracts and applicable state and federal law • Help achieve business and strategic objectives, including launching new products and services • Lead projects and represent the Legal department internally and with clients and vendors • Provide leadership on ConnectiveRx projects • Review, draft and negotiate multi-million-dollar client contracts, including master services agreements, statements of work, amendments and related documentation • Review, draft and negotiate distribution channel contracts and business associate agreements with EMR providers and pharmacy companies • Create and maintain a library of form contracts for new products, services and distribution channels • Coordinate research of relevant legal or compliance issues • Revise and update standard contracts as business needs change • Advise Sales and senior management on contract interpretation, legal issues, contract compliance and applicable state and federal law • Advise management on legal aspects of new business lines and product offerings • Train and educate new Legal employees • Provide Legal and Contract training to new Business Development and Operations employees • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Law degree (J.D.) from a top law school; excellent academic credentials • Member of the State Bar of New Jersey or willing to obtain a limited license to practice law in New Jersey • Healthcare background preferred • Familiarity with the Anti-Kickback Statute, OIG, HIPAA, FTC and FDA rules and regulations helpful • Minimum of four to seven years or more legal experience • Preferably including a minimum of three years’ experience at a large well-respected law firm • Full working knowledge of contract drafting and negotiation • Robust understanding of contract and regulatory law related to the pharma industry • Excellent drafting skills • Demonstrated experience with complicated commercial transactions • Ability to work well with business teams and a wide variety of people • Adaptability and ability to work on a wide range of day-to-day matters • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and command of the English language • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment with changing deadlines and priorities • Commitment to ethics, integrity, professionalism and a sense of humor • Ability to provide pragmatic legal advice reflecting business understanding • Adherence to Company Policies, Procedures, Information Security and Compliance Programs, including SOC1, SOC2, PCI and HIPAA • Compliance with company and client policies regarding business rules and ethics, and applicable local, state and national federal laws • Minimal travel to CRX offices
