📋 Description

• Complete remote order entry, order verification, and drug verification • Provide patient counseling when needed • Navigate multiple pharmacy information systems • Provide drug information and therapeutic guidance to providers • Assess medication appropriateness, dosing including renal/hepatic adjustments, interactions, and compatibilities • Support specialized populations including pediatrics, geriatrics, pregnant/nursing patients, HIV, and renal/hepatic impairment patients • Document interventions and clinical actions accurately and promptly • Communicate with physicians, nurses, and patients • Ensure compliance with HIPAA, pharmacy laws, and client policies • Participate in ongoing clinical, PIS, and policy-update training • Meet productivity and quality standards • Support multiple hospitals through telepharmacy services from a remote environment

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelors in Pharmacy required; PharmD preferred • At least 1 year of hospital pharmacy experience required • Active and in good standing state pharmacist license required in IL, IN, MO, IA and/or KS • Must be willing to obtain other state licenses • Strong clinical knowledge and comfort working across multiple systems • Ability to work part-time hours that may include evenings, overnights, and/or weekends • Internet connection through cable broadband or fiber optic service with at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload for home work • Maintain required licenses, credentials, and system access • Knowledge of IV therapies, TPN, cardiac/narcotic drips, IV antibiotics, and chemotherapy • Familiarity with VPNs, automation systems, multiple pharmacy information systems, Google Suite/Microsoft Office, and Snagit
