📋 Description

• Assist patients in receiving needed medications for rare and/or chronic diseases • Engage patients, insurance companies, and multiple departments to process orders and ensure timely medication shipment • Accurately enter prescriptions into the computer system • Use training, problem-solving skills, and team support to enter patient prescriptions accurately • Ensure prescriptions are entered correctly for insurance evaluation and dispensing • Interact directly with healthcare providers • Research issues with pharmacists and doctors’ offices • Provide patients with guidance about medication coverage • Handle multiple requests while maintaining attention to detail • Document information in the computer system

🎯 Requirements

• High School Diploma, or GED required • Minimum of six months related experience • Valid Pharmacy Technician license/certification/registration as required by state laws • Pharmacy Technician Certification preferred • Microsoft Office proficiency and data entry skills • RxHome experience a plus • Basic math skills (addition/subtraction/multiplication) • Strong attention to detail, accuracy and quality • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • For home-based work, cable broadband or fiber optic internet service with at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload is required
