📋 Description

• Provide virtual clinical, diagnostic, and therapeutic telehealth medical services • Consult and treat patients virtually in virtual urgent care and virtual primary care • Provide related administrative services, including meeting attendance, in-basket management, and provider cross-coverage • Participate in and lead designated Primary Care team structures • Supplement primary care work with urgent care as the provider panel is established • Prepare timely and accurate medical records for patient services and treatment • Meet or exceed quality metrics, clinical competencies, patient satisfaction, connectivity SLA, and Medical Group standards • Participate in committees, quality improvement processes, patient safety reviews, and mentorship opportunities • Collaborate on workflows, policies, and procedures for the virtual primary care hybrid care model • Supervise APRNs in compliance with state requirements • Participate in Medical Staff activities, meetings, and clinical chart reviews • Take on additional tasks as reasonably requested

🎯 Requirements

• MD/DO with ABMS Board Certification in Internal Medicine or Family Practice • Board certification for a minimum of two years • Minimum four years of post-residency experience in a primary care setting • Obtain and maintain licenses to practice medicine in the appropriate states, as requested • Obtain and maintain all approvals to prescribe and dispense drugs under applicable state and federal laws • Establish and maintain active participation in the Medicare and Medicaid program as an approved participating provider • Apply for, obtain, and/or maintain active medical staff privileges at MDLIVE • Maintain Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) licensure • Complete all MDLIVE telemedicine training, including annual compliance training • Complete continuing medical education per medical board and state licensure requirements • Ability to provide high-quality care using verbal, written, and analytical skills • Leadership within a care team • Ability to interact with various levels of personnel within the organization • Minimum 40 clinical hours per week, including 35 hours of direct patient care and 5 hours of administrative time • Candidates with multiple state licenses preferred • Cable broadband or fiber optic internet service with minimum speeds of 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload for home working
