📋 Description

• Lead product execution for 1–2 Agile teams, aligning work with business objectives and product vision • Engage business and technology stakeholders to identify product opportunities and implications • Represent the voice of the customer and ensure customer-centric delivery • Partner with the Agile Product Manager on portfolio and value stream vision and roadmap • Articulate product vision and roadmap and guide sprint goals • Manage and prioritize the product backlog, breaking down epics into features and stories • Aid feature road mapping and strategic planning • Ensure Agile teams understand backlog items and their business value • Write user stories with clear acceptance criteria and validate completed stories • Validate delivered solutions against product vision and incorporate sprint-demo feedback • Partner with Scrum Masters, Architects, Tech Leads, and business stakeholders • Maintain understanding of customer needs, industry trends, and competitor insights • Drive business readiness and change management activities • Monitor and communicate execution progress, risks, and impediments • Analyze delivery metrics for trends and continuous improvement • Own communication across stakeholders and Agile teams throughout the product lifecycle • Report to the Agile Product Manager for the program

🎯 Requirements

• 2+ years of Insurance experience in an Agile Product Ownership or similar role • Knowledge of Employee Benefits Life & Voluntary Products is a plus • Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies and frameworks such as SAFe, Scrum, Kanban, and XP • Proficiency with Agile lifecycle management tools such as Rally and JIRA • Experience with Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Teams • Strong collaboration and influence skills • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Experience analyzing data to identify insights and create hypotheses for testing • Familiarity with mentoring junior APOs and contributing to a product management community of practice • Ability to handle multiple high-priority demands, manage expectations, and achieve objectives • Experience with ADKAR or other change management frameworks is preferred • Willingness to travel 10%–25% as needed
