• Lead day-to-day vendor management, sourcing intelligence, and supply chain reliability work • Serve as primary contact for key component suppliers and contract manufacturers • Establish supplier communication cadences, scorecard reviews, and business reviews • Onboard vendors and coordinate approval workflows with Finance and Compliance • Resolve supplier issues involving pricing, quantities, delivery schedules, and quality holds • Maintain pricing and lead-time intelligence for critical components • Identify and qualify alternate suppliers to improve supply-chain resilience • Support quote development and customer pricing decisions with cost and lead-time data • Track purchase orders, shipments, expected and actual ship dates, and delivery slippage • Escalate at-risk shipments and coordinate expediting, air freight, partial shipments, and routing changes • Communicate supply-chain impacts to manufacturing, service, and customer-facing teams • Conduct post-event disruption analysis and implement process improvements • Own the purchase-order lifecycle, including creation, updates, pricing reconciliation, and receiving/invoicing issues • Maintain vendor master data, item master data, and purchase-order records in ERP and PLM systems • Support ERP, PLM, and service-management platform implementation or migration • Reconcile contract-manufacturer BOM costs, change-order pricing, credit notes, and adjustment POs • Partner with Operations, COO, Engineering, Quality, Compliance, and Finance • Participate in daily and weekly operational reviews • Support engineering change requests, engineering change notices, component substitutions, supplier changes, and BOM updates • Travel up to 20% to vendor, manufacturing partner, supplier, and industry-event sites • Protect confidential commercial information
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or a closely related discipline; equivalent professional experience may substitute • Five to ten years of progressive professional experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management within a manufacturing environment • Experience supporting multi-site or multi-country operations strongly preferred • Experience managing the full purchase order lifecycle, including PO creation, updates, pricing reconciliation, and supplier issue resolution • Experience managing vendor and supplier relationships, including structured supplier communication, performance review, and escalation • Experience with materials planning and inventory management frameworks such as Just-In-Time (JIT) and Material Requirements Planning (MRP) • Professional certification in supply chain management or procurement, such as CSCP, CPIM, CPSM, or equivalent • Direct experience with Epicor in a manufacturing procurement and inventory environment • Direct experience with international sourcing, including suppliers in Europe and Asia; familiarity with import logistics, tariffs, customs documentation, and Incoterms • Experience with measurable cost reduction initiatives • Experience supporting ERP implementation or migration • Experience supervising or mentoring junior procurement staff, materials planners, or buyers • Familiarity with HVAC, data center cooling, industrial equipment, or related manufacturing sectors • Working knowledge of one or more European languages • Working knowledge of ERP systems such as Epicor, SAP, INFOR, NetSuite, or comparable platforms • Working knowledge of PLM systems such as Arena PLM or equivalent • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions and pivot tables • Working knowledge of Power BI, Tableau, or comparable platforms • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook • Ability to work independently in a remote environment and across multiple time zones • Strong relationship management, communication, analytical, organizational, negotiation, and discretion skills
