📋 Description

• Function independently as a lead statistician with minimal oversight • Deliver project statistician responsibilities, including analysis database creation, statistical analyses, and formatted statistical analysis tables and summaries • Mentor junior team members and provide project guidance and statistical advice • Ensure compliance with departmental SOPs and procedures • Lead complex projects and provide senior statistical review • Interact with sponsors and present to sponsors and regulatory agencies as needed • Review sample size calculations, protocols, clinical designs, statistical analyses, and randomization documentation • Write and review analysis plans and define statistical analysis methods and procedures • Review analysis database specifications and oversee database development, maintenance, updating, and documentation • Supervise creation of table and listing specifications • Prepare reports, manuscripts, and other documents, including statistical methods sections for integrated clinical and statistical reports and safety/efficacy summaries • Monitor project budgets and communicate scope or budget changes to management and sponsors • Provide input on hiring recommendations, department policies, and resourcing requirements • Represent the department to other divisions • Assist with bidding and business development activities, including bids and timelines

🎯 Requirements

• Master's degree in Biostatistics, Statistics, or Math at a minimum, or an accepted equivalency combining appropriate education, training, and/or directly related experience • 4+ years of comparable experience • Project lead client-facing experience • Experience programming in SAS and R • Comprehensive SAS programming skills, including BASE, STAT, MACRO, and GRAPH • Understanding of clinical trials/designs and corresponding data reporting • Ability to interpret statistical analyses of complex data • Strong project management, organizational, time management, and planning skills • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including proficiency in English • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a multidisciplinary team environment • Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship • Ability to pass a comprehensive background check, including drug screening
