📋 Description

• Serve as a trusted advisor to customers, account managers, services leaders, project managers, and delivery teams • Maintain accountability for a culture of high customer service • Contribute to the digitization and digitalization of customers through successful technical delivery • Share knowledge, mentor, and guide technical personnel to strengthen team capabilities • Engage with support, product management, and engineering to address product technical issues • Take technical ownership of customer-facing project delivery • Lead solutions design, architecture, configuration, and implementation work for products and solutions • Partner with Solutions Architects, Consultants, and Project Managers to plan and track project delivery • Allocate and oversee technical work and deliver high-quality work on time and on budget • Act as the primary technical point of contact for customers • Lead scoping, design, and other customer workshops • Participate in pre- and post-sales project activities • Review customer requirements and author RFP responses, requirements trace matrices, functional and technical specifications, testing and validation plans, installation and user documentation, and other technical project deliverables • Contribute to process improvements, compliance, and operational improvements • Travel as needed for internal and customer meetings • Design, propose, and deliver Digital Science products and solutions in line with Thermo Fisher’s 4I values

🎯 Requirements

• Experience in all aspects of enterprise laboratory informatics technical solutions design and implementation for ELN, LIMS, SDMS, CDS, instrument and systems integration, amongst others • Experience with relational databases: Oracle, SQL Server, and Postgres • Programming experience with C# and VGL • Experience with cloud services and infrastructure highly desirable • Demonstrated experience working in a matrix environment, across internal and external resources and regions • Understanding of SDLC, Quality, and IT processes in the context of delivering and supporting validated systems • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, integrity, and credibility • Results focused, with a demonstrated track record of getting things done • Attention to detail and concern for quality • Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities • Collaborative; initiates and facilitates communications and relevant information sharing, and works with different functions to achieve the best outcomes • Flexibility in work schedule to accommodate communications with global team • Ability to innovate, bring ideas forward, and advance issues and risks in a positive way • Bachelor’s or master's degree in IT, IS, Engineering, Life Sciences, or equivalent • At least 3–5 years of relevant experience in enterprise software technical implementation projects, preferably in professional services with a life and laboratory science software product/technology services company
