📋 Description

• Review, negotiate, and finalize contract templates, processes, negotiation parameters, contractual terms and conditions, and ancillary documents • Provide regional oversight and contractual risk assessment • Liaise with Legal during country improvement initiatives and complex contractual matters • Negotiate investigator grant budgets and contractual terms within approved parameters • Serve as regional client contact for contractual negotiations, process questions, and issue resolution • Coordinate site start-up activities affected by contract execution and investigator grant negotiations • Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely contractual deliverables • Apply approved templates, negotiation parameters, client expectations, and processes consistently • Monitor contractual risks and issues while managing competing priorities • Identify and assess legal, financial, and operational risks • Recommend alternative resolutions for contract negotiations • Facilitate coordination of site start-up activities • Contribute to departmental change initiatives • Complete quality reviews and peer feedback reports • Create and deliver training materials to team members

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and relevant professional experience • Comparable to 5+ years of experience in contract negotiation and/or contract management • Clinical research experience preferred • Strong knowledge of contract law and principles • General understanding of business, intellectual property, local tax, and stamp laws across multiple regions • Understanding of business, contractual, and financial principles related to clinical research service agreements • Ability to draft and negotiate contract provisions and investigator grant budgets within approved parameters • In-depth understanding of clinical drug development and clinical trial processes in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or CRO industries • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and the local language, where applicable • Strong customer focus and ability to influence stakeholders • Strong analytical thinking, judgment, and decision-making skills • Problem-solving, risk assessment, and impact analysis capabilities • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Excel, and Word • Ability to communicate and understand information and ideas with diverse groups • Ability to work upright and stationary during typical working hours • Ability to use and learn standard office equipment and technology • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects • Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship • Must pass a comprehensive background check, including drug screening for US candidates • Relocation assistance is not provided
