• Provides strategic leadership and oversight for clinical trial nutrition programs and services • Leads program design, implementation, delivery models, and operational execution • Leads and develops supervisors, managers, and cross-functional teams • Leads nutrition services projects across regional, multi-site, and occasionally global scopes • Oversees clinical trial nutrition programs, service delivery, vendor relationships, and resource allocation • Ensures compliance with OSHA, Department of Health, FDA, and applicable multi-state regulations • Identifies improvement opportunities and drives process innovation • Provides subject matter expertise during protocol reviews, including clinical trial menu design and nutrition counseling or lifestyle intervention services • Collaborates with clients and internal stakeholders to design and implement lifestyle interventions • Supports business development, bid defenses, and client engagements • Develops and delivers presentations communicating nutrition service capabilities • Represents the organization at industry conferences, meetings, and strategic partnerships • Establishes operating policies, procedures, budgets, schedules, and performance standards • Interacts with internal and external management and senior-level customer representatives • Leads briefings and technical meetings • Oversees projects, operational decisions, scheduling requirements, and contractual clarifications • May manage employees across multiple regions
• Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) required • Certified food service manager required or obtain within first 60 days of hire • 6+ years of progressive leadership or supervisory experience • 3+ years of experience in program design, implementation, and management within clinical, research, or healthcare settings • 6+ years in menu planning, diet management, or foodservice operations • Bachelor’s degree in nutrition, dietetics, public health, or related field preferred • Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional teams and managing multi-site or complex programs preferred • Advanced knowledge of nutrition standards and their application within clinical trial settings • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office, and ability to learn various programs and systems • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills • Ability to coordinate cross-functional teams • Strong time-management, budgeting, financial oversight, organizational, analytical, judgment, and decision-making skills • Proven ability to design and adapt clinical trial menus and lifestyle intervention programs • Ability to drive innovation and continuous process improvements • Ability to work primarily office-based with occasional food service and operational area duties • Ability to travel occasionally for project oversight and vendor management • Ability to work long hours, early mornings, late evenings, occasional weekends, and 24/7 on-call rotations • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs • Regular and consistent attendance
