📋 Description

• Deliver customer training on HID products, applications, and workflows through on-site and remote sessions • Provide technical and application support, troubleshooting customer workflows, technical inquiries, and product performance issues • Support pre-sales activities through technical consultation, product demonstrations, presentations, and workflow discussions • Provide post-sales application support for implementing, adopting, and optimizing HID technologies • Partner with Sales and commercial colleagues throughout the customer lifecycle • Collaborate with Technical Support, Service, Product Management, and internal teams to resolve customer needs and improve customer experience • Maintain current knowledge of HID products, applications, workflows, and developments in forensic science and human identification • Document customer activities and provide field and customer feedback to internal teams • Support Western North America in a remote, field-based role • Travel up to approximately 70% for customer training, technical support, pre-sales activities, demonstrations, and other customer-facing engagements

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in forensic science, molecular biology, genetics, biochemistry, or a related scientific discipline required • 5+ years of experience, or 3 years with an advanced degree, in forensic DNA workflows or a related technical role, including hands-on laboratory experience • Demonstrated experience with forensic DNA instrumentation, chemistries, and analysis software • Strong technical and troubleshooting skills • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including communicating complex scientific and technical concepts to diverse audiences • Strong customer-facing, presentation, and training skills • Ability to independently manage multiple customer priorities in a remote, field-based environment • Willingness and ability to travel up to approximately 70% • Residence in California, Arizona, Washington, Oregon, or Nevada • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship • Must be able to pass a comprehensive background check, including a drug screen
