📋 Description

• Assemble, install, repair, test, calibrate, and maintain electromechanical instrumentation and systems supported by TDX • Inspect and test electronic and mechanical parts and components against drawing tolerances and written specifications • Provide high-quality and timely service and repair to maintain external customer satisfaction • Perform equipment installation, maintenance, service repairs, preventative maintenance, and field upgrade modifications • Order and manage repair parts and cycle times • Maintain customer service logs and internal service records • Communicate with customers to ensure issue resolution and follow-up • Maintain and calibrate tools and test equipment • Meet Health and Human Services, environmental health and safety, and other regulatory requirements • Apply internal processes to resolve customer service delivery issues and conduct root cause analysis • Travel at least 75% of the time and to any covered region as required • Schedule planned maintenance and on-demand services independently • Troubleshoot on site and confirm root causes identified by technical specialists • Develop detailed technical knowledge of One Lambda (TDX) equipment • Provide field response supporting One Lambda automation • Coordinate with customers, sales personnel, product specialists, customer support, vendors, and regulatory and quality-control teams • Define and implement work schedules within budget guidelines • Maintain professional relationships with customers and the sales team

🎯 Requirements

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship • Must pass a comprehensive background check, including drug screening • Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical or electrical engineering preferred and/or 3+ years of field equipment service experience • Familiarity and prior experience with Tecan automation hardware/software preferred • Hands-on experience maintaining, calibrating, and repairing electromechanical medical devices • Ability to read and use schematics and wiring diagrams • Experience reading, understanding, and implementing written and/or verbal assembly, test, and inspection procedures • Knowledge of bench-top electromechanical assembly, problem solving, repair, and testing techniques • Ability to solder • Clear written and verbal communication • Comfortable operating Windows 7 and Windows 10 • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Professional • Familiarity with HLA laboratories and testing procedures • Applied knowledge of automated equipment systems and precision mechanically controlled motion systems • Knowledge of mechanics, fluid mechanics, and thermodynamics • Ability to exercise independent discretion and judgment • Ability to plan and prioritize work reliably and consistently • Ability to reschedule planned services to prioritize ad hoc service calls • Ability to maintain confidentiality of critical laboratory and business information • Ability to perform meticulous computer data entry • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships • Ability to travel at least two or more times per month • Ability to lift 50–75 lbs occasionally • Ability to work with protective gloves and potentially biohazardous materials and chemical reagents • Ability to use standard hand tools and light-duty power tools
