📋 Description

• Draft, execute and process contracts, reports and related documents with clinical study sites and principal investigators • Develop and maintain professional relationships with assigned sites • Negotiate investigator grant budgets and contractual terms within approved parameters • Coordinate stakeholder review of changes outside negotiation parameters and submit recommendations • Monitor and report contractual progress to the Site Contract Manager • Partner to reduce or eliminate regulatory, legal and financial exposure • Follow up with stakeholders on outstanding agreement issues • Upload finalized contractual documents to eTMF within required timelines • Assist the TMF specialist with eTMF quality control and issue resolution • Track common negotiation points for negotiation parameter updates

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent and relevant formal academic / vocational qualification • Associate Contract Specialist: Previous experience comparable to 2 years • Contract Specialist: Previous experience comparable to 2–5 years • Equivalency through a combination of appropriate education, training and/or directly related experience may be considered • Good understanding of contract law, including business, intellectual property, local tax and stamp laws • Ability to apply basic principles of investigator grant negotiation • General understanding of business and financial principles related to service agreements • Effective communication skills in English and local language • Ability to draft and negotiate contract provisions and budgetary issues within parameters • Attention to detail • Analytical and decision-based thinking skills • Understanding of pharmaceutical product development and CRO involvement • Ability to work independently or in a team environment • Organizational and time management skills • Working knowledge of PPD SOPs and WPDs • Ability to organize competing priorities and review contractual risks and issues • Ability to use automated systems and computerized applications • Customer-focused communication, problem solving and collaboration • Regular and consistent attendance • Ability to work in an upright and/or stationary position for 6–8 hours per day • Ability to perform frequent mobility, bending, twisting, crouching and stooping • Ability to lift and carry up to 15–20 lbs • Ability to access and use computer software
