📋 Description

• Teach G1-G2 math using Think Academy’s curriculum, lesson materials, and instructional guidance • Lead virtual classes and create a warm, positive, high-expectation learning environment for early learners • Grade homework and provide timely feedback • Communicate with parents about student progress, classroom behavior, and learning habits • Understand lesson goals and common student sticking points • Participate in training, lesson preparation, and ongoing professional development • Refine teaching and service practices based on feedback

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited college or university • Strong math foundation and comfort with U.S. elementary-school math content or above • Fluent, confident English instruction skills • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with parents and internal team members in Chinese or bilingually • Meaningful prior experience with young learners, such as tutoring, camp teaching, after-school programs, classroom teaching, or mentoring • Strong service mindset and proactive communication with parents, students, and the team • Openness to feedback and ability to adjust teaching and service approaches quickly • Interest in a long-term teaching career and growth at Think Academy • Availability during the stated class windows and on at least one weekend day • Commitment to at least one year, through May 2027 • Ability to work approximately 30–40 hours per week • Candidates based in or open to relocating to the Bay Area preferred • Experience as a team lead, mentor, or TA lead; math competition background; curriculum design or teacher training experience are bonus qualifications
