📋 Description

• Provide psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and ongoing care to Medicaid patients • Set personal hours and availability and choose which referrals to accept • Build and manage a suitable caseload • Deliver confidential virtual clinical sessions • Collaborate with therapists and other providers as part of a multidisciplinary care team • Make independent clinical decisions • Participate in optional peer consultation • Support expanded access to behavioral healthcare for Medicaid members

🎯 Requirements

• Active, unrestricted PMHNP license in good standing in Colorado • National board certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) • Prescriptive authority • Active DEA registration • Colorado controlled substance registration • Experience providing psychiatric evaluations and prescribing psychotropic medications • Own malpractice coverage of $1M per occurrence / $3M aggregate • Experience with EHR systems and other digital tools • Quiet, HIPAA-compliant home office • Own computer and reliable internet for confidential virtual sessions • Fluency in English • Proficiency in Spanish preferred • Additional languages a plus • Strong clinical judgment managing psychiatric conditions across diverse populations • Patient-centered approach to medication management and treatment planning • Experience collaborating with therapists and other providers in a multidisciplinary care team • Commitment to equity in mental health access for Medicaid populations
