📋 Description

• Maintain timely and accurate financial records • Perform day-to-day accounting activities and ad hoc projects • Own account reconciliations and financial closing activities • Prepare monthly financial closing activities, procedures, journal entries, and account reconciliations • Support month-end and year-end close activities • Monitor and review financial activity and assist with flux analysis • Partner with internal teams and external business contacts to support accurate and timely financial processes • Assist with the annual financial audit and related documentation requests • Utilize accounting systems and tools to process, record, and maintain financial transactions • Report to the Accounting Manager

🎯 Requirements

• 3–5 years in FP&A, strategic finance, investment banking, consulting, or a related analytical field • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field • Advanced Excel skills and comfort with complex financial modeling • Strong analytical skills with the ability to manipulate and interpret large data sets to draw actionable insights • Experience with SQL or BI tools (Domo, Tableau, etc.) strongly preferred • Experience with ERP/planning/forecasting/reporting tools (NetSuite, Adaptive, etc.) strongly preferred • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally • Highly organized with a strong attention to detail and an ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment • 2+ years relevant accounting experience • Strong accounting knowledge and understanding of GAAP • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with an emphasis on Excel • Polished professional communication skills • Effective organizational and time management skills • Ability to work independently or as a team member in a fully remote environment • Have an interest in learning and growing within an accounting department • Employment with Thrive Market requires that employees be based in the United States throughout employment
