📋 Description

• Provide psychiatric assessments and evaluations of clients through ongoing telemedicine • Provide care to a diverse population with mental health conditions including depression, anxiety, ADHD, and more • Treat primarily adults and adolescents, with future expansion across the lifespan • Prescribe medication as needed to reduce mental health symptoms • Create and collaborate with clients on care plans • Complete and/or administer appropriate paperwork and assessment tools • Adhere to Thriveworks' Clinical Practice Guidelines • Consult with Regional Clinic Directors and staff regarding clients, programs, and services • Accept and treat ADHD clients after completing required training, with no quotas for clients or prescriptions

🎯 Requirements

• Licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner – Board Certification required • Master's in Nursing with active prescriptive authority required in the state • One year of psychiatry practice required • Understanding of AdvancedMD (AMD) EMR is a plus • Three years of experience is a plus • Must be licensed and live in North Carolina, the state in which they will be practicing • Part-time requires 15–20 hours of availability per week • Willingness to treat clients aged 14 and up • Required to complete in-house training on ADHD treatment standards, guidelines, and approach, followed by a brief exam • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States at the time of hire • Position is not eligible for employment visa sponsorship, now or in the future
