📋 Description

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and medication management sessions • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans • Provide evidence-based psychiatric care for a range of mental health conditions, including mood disorders, anxiety disorders, psychotic disorders, and ADHD • Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members, including therapists, case managers, and social workers • Maintain up-to-date clinical documentation within the EMR system • Provide direct psychiatric care while optionally taking leadership and clinical oversight responsibilities • Offer clinical guidance and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team • Work 35 clinical hours per week, handling 60–70 sessions depending on caseload and availability • Support the professional development of psychiatric nurse practitioners

🎯 Requirements

• Medical Degree (MD or DO) with residency training in Psychiatry • Board Certification in Psychiatry (ABPN) • Active and unrestricted medical license in multiple states, or willing to get licensed in multiple states • Deep understanding of the NP scope of practice in psychiatry and relevant state regulations • Strong interpersonal, communication, and mentorship skills • Must be licensed and located in the state of Michigan • Experience in outpatient psychiatry and/or telepsychiatry settings preferred • Familiarity with trauma-informed care, integrated care, and/or addiction psychiatry (a plus) • Multistate licensure or willingness to obtain additional licenses (if telehealth is part of the model) • Experience with EMR systems and virtual collaboration tools • Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States at the time of hire • This position is not eligible for employment visa sponsorship, either now or in the future
