📋 Description

• Define, monitor, and report on key metrics measuring Thumbtack’s success • Lead business performance analysis and reporting to surface emerging risks and opportunities for leadership • Conduct deep-dive analyses addressing questions critical to Thumbtack’s future strategy • Support and improve the company revenue forecasting model and broader forecasting and planning process • Build and maintain dashboards and self-serve tools used across the company • Partner with Product, Engineering, Marketing, Operations, Finance, and leadership to translate insights into action • Strengthen the data culture through peer collaboration, review, training, and coaching • Share performance updates with the Board and help develop company strategy and goals

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in a highly analytical role, preferably in tech • Experience in a marketplace or two-sided platform business is a plus • Proficiency using SQL and Python or R to analyze large data sets • Solid statistics foundation • Strong business judgment and comfort navigating ambiguity • Ability to synthesize insight from analysis • Experience partnering with executives to understand business needs and drive decisions • Strong communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences • Experience using AI to automate workflows and enable self-serve analytics • Experience with revenue modeling and forecasting, ideally in a high-growth or public company environment • Ability to work from an eligible United States location, as indicated in the application form • Must answer whether employment visa sponsorship will be required
