📋 Description

• Travel to customer sites to install, fix, repair, and maintain machine tool equipment and controls • Troubleshoot and repair CNC equipment • Use online technical documents, manuals, and vendor resources to research machine issues • Complete and submit accurate documentation regarding machine issues, repairs, and installations • Promote and perform preventive maintenance on customer machine tool equipment • Provide after-sales technical support and training • Maintain in-depth knowledge of the machine tool industry and company product lines • Report directly to the Service Manager • Perform related duties as required

🎯 Requirements

• Demonstrated ability in mechanical/electrical repair or engineering desired • CNC repair background is a plus • Ability to read and interpret drawings and schematics required • Microsoft Office and other software experience is a plus • Ability to use a laptop, smartphone, and various software applications • Excellent technical, communication, and presentation skills required • Ability to regularly lift 40–50 pounds • Flexible hours and frequent travel and driving throughout a regional territory • Strong mechanical and electrical proficiency • Ability to work in industrial environments and wear required PPE • Ability to work in tight spaces or awkward positions • Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, climb, reach, and access elevated areas for extended periods • Strong hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills • Ability to meet the physical and mental requirements of the role
