📋 Description

• Travel to customer sites to install, fix, repair, and maintain CNC machine-tool equipment and controls • Use online technical documents, manuals, and vendor resources to research machine issues • Accurately document and submit machine-issue, repair, and installation status to the office and customers • Promote and perform preventative maintenance on customer machine-tool equipment • Conduct after-sales technical support and training • Maintain in-depth knowledge of the machine-tool industry and company-represented product lines • Report directly to the Service Manager • Travel and drive throughout a regional territory, dispatched daily from home • Perform related duties as required

🎯 Requirements

• Demonstrated ability in mechanical/electrical repair or engineering desired • CNC repair background is a plus • Ability to read and interpret drawings and schematics required • Microsoft Office and other software experience is a plus • Excellent technical, communication, and presentation skills required • Ability to use a laptop, smartphone, and various software applications • Ability to regularly lift 40–50 pounds and up to 50 pounds with assistance from equipment or other employees • Flexible hours and frequent travel and driving throughout a regional territory • Ability to work responsibly and professionally at dynamic customer job sites • Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, climb, reach, and work in tight or awkward spaces • Strong hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills for precise electrical, mechanical, and diagnostic work • Ability to work in industrial environments with noise, lubricants, coolants, metal chips, and required PPE • Must be highly mobile and able to access all areas of premises • Ability to concentrate while prioritizing multiple tasks and responsibilities
