📋 Description

• Develop, program, and commission automation control systems from concept through implementation • Create virtual commissioning environments using Emulate3D • Develop PLC logic programs from scratch • Design SCADA and HMI applications using Ignition and FactoryTalk Optix Studio • Design and document detailed electrical control systems • Produce electrical schematics and panel assembly drawings using AutoCAD Electrical • Collaborate with cross-functional engineers to bring concepts to reality • Integrate conveyor controls solutions, automated material handling equipment, autonomous vehicles, and other hardware platforms • Provide technical expertise in controls software design, development, and deployment • Perform on-site commissioning and testing support • Break designs into manageable development tasks and maintain project schedules • Provide 24/7 remote support when required • Mentor and train less experienced engineers

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Controls Engineering, Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Mechatronics Engineering • 2+ years of experience in control systems engineering with a bachelor's or master's degree • Ability to read and debug PLC programs • Ability to read and understand electrical schematics • Experience commissioning and troubleshooting VFDs • Familiarity with Studio 5000/RSLogix, FactoryTalk View, and AutoCAD • Ability to assist in project definition, specification, purchasing follow-through, and installation • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills in software and hardware • Excellent written and oral communication skills and strong interpersonal skills • Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% • Preferred: experience commissioning and troubleshooting servo drives • Preferred: SQL management experience • Preferred: understanding of computer networking concepts and architecture • Preferred: warehouse operations management experience or experience with warehouse management and/or execution systems
