📋 Description

• Learn calibration fundamentals under the supervision and direction of laboratory technicians • Develop skills to perform calibrations independently • Work across dimensional, electrical, pressure, and temperature disciplines as applicable • Fulfill duties safely in accordance with company requirements and standards • Complete assigned learning activities • Achieve competency in two disciplines and continue skill development • Advance toward Calibration Technician I within 18 months, requiring competency in at least three disciplines • Deliver on Transcat’s Quality Policy (QAC-F01-001) • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• High School diploma or GED • Previous experience or training in electronics or machining (preferred) • Basic mathematical skills including algebra, geometry, and statistics (preferred) • Familiarity with basic hand tools (preferred) • Proficiency with Microsoft Office software including Word, Excel, and Outlook (preferred) • Basic organizational and time management skills (preferred) • Ability to read, write, talk, and hear • Ability to sit and use hands and fingers to handle tools and equipment • Ability to occasionally stand, walk, reach, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl • Ability to occasionally lift up to 75 lbs. • Ability to work safely around electrical shock risks, moving mechanical parts, chemicals, fumes, vibration, and other listed conditions • Successful completion of pre-employment requirements, including identity and employment eligibility verification and, when applicable, a motor vehicle driving record report
